2010 - HMH expands into
new terrain
Beginning this winter 2011, HMH will be skiing new terrain in the Big
Hole Range on the Idaho side of the Tetons. The Forest Supervisor on
the Caribou-Targhee forest has told us that he intends to sign a temporary
one year permit before start of the ski season while we initiate the
process to include the new terrain into our special use permit. These
new ski adventures will be staged from our base at Teton Springs, Idaho.
This should allow us more options on weather days when the Big Holes
can sometimes be clear and the Palisades are not. We also intend to
explore and venture out to Big Elk Mtn., Blacks Mt. And Caribou Pk.
on the south side of Palisades Reservoir. We hope you can join us on
one of these exciting new heli-ski adventures.
