Snowboarders are also welcome on heli-ski
outings. They should also be of advanced to expert ability,
and able to ride the black diamond runs at the resorts. Make
sure you can start, stop and control speed WITHOUT side slipping… in
other words, turn! The guide will always keep you informed
of what is to be expected.
Heli-Boarding-A snowboarders Guide.
First time heli-boarding? Been out before but looking to
have a better experience? Here are a few suggestions for
you to follow to make sure your trip is as rad as possible …
Board:
more and more people that ride powder everyday are riding
shorter, tapered boards.
Boots: Comfy.... It’s that
simple.
Bindings: Standard freestyle or freeride bindings
will do just fine.
