Since 1974, High Mountain Heli-Skiing (HMH) has been offering its guests the ultimate deep powder helicopter skiing experience in Jackson Hole. We use two new model AS-350B3e A-Star helicopters to access our terrain. Our 305,000-acre terrain consists of ranges south of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, including all of the Snake River and Palisades Mountain Ranges, and portions of the Wyoming, Teton and the Gros Ventre Mountain Ranges. Vast open bowls, steep chutes, enchanted forests and glades can all be yours to explore.

A day of heli-skiing consists of six runs, approximately 12,000-15,000 vertical feet, transportation to the heli-pad, and lunch at the Heli-Deli. Extra runs are available at an additional cost when time and conditions will allow. Rental powder skis (the all-new Rossignol BLACK OPS SKIS) are recommended and available in our shop.

We fly in groups of five in the A-Star B3, one guide and four guests. Three groups (12 guests) is the maximum amount for our daily operations with each helicopter.

We maintain two bases for our daily operations. Our main base is 13 miles south of Jackson at the new Astoria Hot Springs at Snake River Sporting Club. We’re also located on the west side of the mountains in the Teton Springs Lodge and Spa near Victor, Idaho. All heli-ski trips will meet daily at 9:00am and you will be advised as to which location when you check in on the day prior to your scheduled trip.
