A group waits in blowing snow as the helicopter departs

The details are personal

These answers are a starting point. Your confirmation and the team's instructions establish the details of the trip you book.

01Which trip is right for me?

Start with a single day, several days arranged with the team, or a private helicopter for your own group. Share your dates, group size and skiing or riding background with reservations.

02How do I check dates and book?

Use the online reservation calendar for current single-day availability. For multi-day or private planning, email reservations@highmtnheli.com or call 307-690-8310.

03Can you help plan a trip for my group?

Yes. Send your preferred dates, group size, whether everyone skis or snowboards, and a little about the group's experience. The team can discuss the available formats.

04How strong a skier do I need to be?

HMH asks for prior powder experience, strong control in varied off-piste snow and the fitness for a sustained mountain day. Describe your normal skiing to reservations so they can discuss whether the trip is a good fit.

05Can snowboarders join?

Yes. HMH offers heli skiing and snowboarding. Tell reservations that you ride and discuss your powder experience, equipment and the people traveling with you.

06What avalanche equipment does HMH provide?

The operator lists a transceiver, airbag pack, shovel, probe and radio. The team briefs guests on their use and on helicopter procedures before flying. Follow the actual instructions for your day.

07Do I need to bring my own boots?

Yes. Bring your own ski or snowboard boots. Ask about any rental equipment and fitting arrangements before arriving.

08Are powder ski rentals available?

HMH lists powder ski rentals. Confirm availability, the current price and fitting arrangements with reservations when you plan the trip.

09Where do trips depart?

HMH lists bases at the Snake River Sporting Club south of Jackson, Wyoming, and at Teton Springs near Victor, Idaho. Confirm the actual meeting base and time for your reservation.

10Is transportation to the base included?

HMH's trip-planning information asks guests to coordinate transportation to and from the base. Confirm your meeting location before arranging the journey.

11Is lunch provided?

The operator lists lunch as part of its day. Tell the team about dietary restrictions ahead of time. Private groups can discuss their lunch arrangements directly.

12Are a particular run or snow conditions guaranteed?

The guides and pilots make operating and terrain decisions with weather, snow and group ability in mind. Photographs show the experience and setting, rather than a guaranteed itinerary.

13How are private trips priced?

Discuss a current quote with reservations, including the available group configuration, what is included and how additional flying is charged. The confirmed arrangement takes precedence over older online descriptions.

14Which booking and cancellation terms apply?

Current rates, seasonal options and available payment details appear on each experience page. Single-day requests are confirmed by email and text before a deposit is charged, with the remaining balance charged after the ski day. Ask reservations for the cancellation and payment terms that apply to your three-day package or private trip.
