Our staff of professional guides is trained in Outdoor Emergency Care as provided by the National Ski Patrol, CPR, avalanche hazard forecasting and mountain rescue. All are active mountaineers who know the terrain and snow pack intimately.
Director of Operations and Lead Guide
John Wauters is our Director of Operations and Lead Guide. He began guiding for HMH during the winter 2012, coming to us with an extensive guiding background in Jackson Hole and Alaska.
Charlie Cornell came to HMH in 2007 with an extensive background in avalanche hazard mitigation.
Craig Fischer began guiding for HMH in 2014, recently assuming a full time guiding role. He also works as a lead guide for Alaska Rendezvous Heli-Ski Guides in Valdez, AK.

Have the best day ever with High MTN Heli. Our average day of heli-skiing consists of six runs, approximately 12,000-15,000 vertical feet, transportation to the heli-pad, and lunch at the Heli-Deli. Extra runs are available at an additional cost when time and conditions will allow.
